We’ve never been in a Herding Camp before, so I’d been really excited about it! Unfortunately, we could only participated one and a half days, which breaks my heart. The first day we were learning about the theories of herding, then we practiced a little without dogs (and sheep). After that we started to work with the dogs. Butch did a great job, on the second day we practised herding the sheep out and in the pen. We got a lot of help from our trainer Saci Leczki, and I really hope we can join every day of the next herding camp. 🙂
Butch was easy to handle because his herding instinct and handling is well balanced. He also met a couple new friends, mostly Beauceron and Malinois ladies he could play with, but he really missed his old friends – Souri and Echo.
